Who's here
Rectangle Studios is almost full, with a few spots remaining.
Nine tenants have been here since the day their studio opened. The first one moved in September 2023.
Artists here have moved into bigger studios as their work grew. When something opens, current tenants get first look. If the studio you really want is rented, the way in is to take a good one now and be first in line when your dream studio opens up.
We have painters, sculptors, illustrators, writers, performance artists, podcasters, vintage sellers, booksellers, and a few small businesses.
What doesn't work here: ceramics, because we aren't set up for kilns. Tattoo work, same reason. And musicians, because sound carries in an old building.
A place for work
24 hour access, high-speed internet, and your own private space with thirty other artists working a few doors down.
No open studios. No gallery nights. No public hours.
This is a place for focused making, studio visits by appointment, and private clients. If you want a storefront or an art walk crowd, this isn't the place.

Bay View, around the corner from Barnacle Bud's. Minutes from downtown and the freeway.
